Oleg and Ruslan, business partners from Moscow, applied in May 2019. The companions often visit Austria to develop their business there. In addition, Oleg and Ruslan are keen on mountain skiing, so they combine business trips with vacations in Alpine resorts.
The clients thought about buying real estate in Austria, and also considered the possibility of participating in the residence permit program for FNL. But the need for a long stay in the country and waiting for their turn under the quota did not suit Oleg and Ruslan. This was the reason to look for other options.
We proposed the following plan:
Of the three options of the chosen program, the clients settled on the purchase of real estate. In the future, the businessmen planned to rent it out.
Direct work on the case
In May 2019, a cooperation agreement was signed.
The company's lawyers began collecting the necessary documents.
They opened bank accounts in Greece, issued tax numbers (AFM) and D-category visas to enter the country.
Oleg and Ruslan remotely selected real estate for investment. Having obtained visas, they traveled to Greece to finalize the sale and purchase transaction and submit biometrics.
In August, all organizational issues were resolved and the documents for obtaining a residence permit were submitted to AID.
In September the case was finalized. Later on our lawyers helped Oleg and Ruslan to rent out Greek real estate. They were also assisted in finding and purchasing housing in Austria.
The result of the work. The clients' request was satisfied, they received a residence permit for Greece as FNL. The second goal was achieved: the ability to visit Austria without hindrance and to stay there for a long time.
