Yuri G. from Orel applied in July 2018. The family consists of a spouse and three minor children.

The client's goal was to obtain a Golden Visa for Spain for the purpose of permanent residence in this country. This case had its own peculiarities that made it instructive for the whole company.

In the first conversation, the client said that he had already made some steps towards his goal. Specifically:

• obtained an NIE in Spain;
• opened a bank account in the Kingdom.

1. We submit the client's documents to the embassy to obtain an investor visa.
2. Having obtained a visa, we bring the client to Spain, where he formalizes the missing object on himself.

Case development

Mid-July. We sign a cooperation agreement with the client.

By the beginning of August, we collected all the necessary documents, processed them and conducted an initial check.

In the course of it, we found out an important nuance. One of the sale and purchase agreements contained a clause according to which our client was obliged to pay all debts and unpaid taxes on the property for the previous owner. The Spanish realtor did not warn Yuri about this, but the lawyers discovered the problem.

Mid-August. Yuri sent money from Russia to his Spanish account to settle his debts. But as a result of a misunderstanding, this account was blocked.

Late August and early September. For almost a month the lawyers worked on unblocking the account. At the same time, work was going on to obtain an investor's visa for the client. It was received by mid-September. At the same time, Yuri got access to his account.

This story showed us that when continuing the work of specialists from other companies, it is worthwhile to carefully consider the issue of its verification, no matter how flawless this work may look at first.

The second half of September. Yuri in Spain closed all debts on real estate and registered the 10th object on himself. His documents were submitted to the Spanish immigration service to obtain a Golden Visa.

In the middle of October we receive a positive decision.

End of October. Yuri and his family members visited Spain to submit biometric data.

Finalizing the story

The development of the case, although it had its nuances, took a little over 4 months. The whole family received their Spanish residence cards.
