Case: French Residence Permit with an Israeli Passport

Friends, we are happy to share our experience with you and show you the different sides of closed cases. Today we would like to tell you about obtaining a French residence permit through the "Passport Talent" program for clients with Israeli passports.

In the early fall of 2022 Michael (entrepreneur, 38 years old) and his wife Olga (37 years old, targetologist) applied to our agency. Michael and Olga work remotely and have been living in Haifa for more than 10 years. The young people left for personal reasons and have Israeli citizenship.

In 2022, the repatriates began to think about moving to Europe due to the unstable political situation. The choice of the spouses fell on France. Submitting documents for France's Passport to Talent program

We submitted the startup to the French government authorities for consideration. Additionally, we enclosed business certificates of the wife and husband, and a bank statement confirming the annual income of 32,000 EUR. Consideration of the startup lasted for 3 months and at the end of 2022 we received a positive answer. 

Before submitting documents for a residence permit, we needed to show the client's trustworthiness. The following documents were collected:

1. issued D visa;
2. ownership of real estate - Olga's grandmother lives in Lyon, and confirmed in writing that the couple would live with her for the first six months;
3. stable income - annual income in the amount of 32 000 EUR for two persons was suitable for the established minimum of 15 600 EUR per person;
4. a document confirming the availability of a minimum of 15,600 EUR + 32,000 EUR per spouse in the accounts. Before applying for a residence permit the spouses sold their apartment in Yaroslavl and had 92 000 EUR in their account;
5. medical insurance - was pre-registered in Israel.

Criminal record, money laundering operations, untruthful information - the main reasons for refusal of residence permit in France. Our clients are people with impeccable reputations.

Documents for registration of residence permit in France

We have collected, translated , and apostilled the following package of documents:

1. completed forms of the established sample;
2. copies of passports;
3. D visa;
4. receipts for payment of fees;
5. bank statements and tax returns for 5 years;
6. certificates of absence of criminal record;
7. health insurance policy.

Due to the availability of an Israeli passport, our clients have unexpectedly received several bonuses:

• less time for application review and startup approval;
• documents can be submitted directly to the embassy, not to the visa center;

All issues were settled by the end of March, and on April 5, the couple received their French residence cards. Under the "Talent Passport" program, they can later obtain permanent residence and citizenship. Now they have access to visa-free travel to Schengen countries, legal residence in any corner of France, can use quality medicine, or enroll in a university.

Olga plans to study art history in Paris. The couple plan to settle all their affairs quickly in Haifa, and already in the beginning of summer to visit Lyon.
