Applied in April 2020. The goal is to obtain a “golden” residence permit and subsequently citizenship in the EU. The strategic goal is to develop his business in Europe.
The choice of country is not important; the main thing is that the property should be as budget-friendly as possible, but at the same time it should fit the conditions of the program.
Before applying, Eugene already knew that the cheapest Golden Visa - Greek (from € 250 thousand). He made attempts to buy real estate in Halkidiki, acting through real estate companies in Greece. But the deals “did not come together”, mainly for two reasons:
Realtors offered only their own options, not agreeing to those that interested the client.
Eugene did not have European visas, and realtors in Greece were not ready to help him open them in a pandemic.
We confirmed that we would open a Schengen visa for the client and this prompted him to sign a cooperation agreement with us. In addition, Eugene was guaranteed that the transaction would be done with any property for sale in the region of Greece where he wished.
To Greece via Italy
Eugene's ten-day visit to Moscow was not enough to obtain an entry visa. And the Greek Embassy in Kazakhstan did not accept applications due to quarantine.
During May, he was issued an Italian visa at the Italian Embassy in Nur-Sultan. The client purchased airline tickets from Kazakhstan to Italy and then to Greece.
In early June, he flew out on this route. Eugene was met by a lawyer in Greece. He helped to find real estate in Halkidiki and accompanied the client at all stages of the transaction.
In 2 weeks after arrival the purchase and sale took place. Together with the lawyer they submitted a package of documents for residence permit. In July Bibatyr, staying in Greece, passed biometrics.
At the end of August he received a residence permit card.
After 5 years, extending the residence permit, the client will receive the status of permanent residence, and in 2 more years - citizenship. For this he will spend the last years in Greece at least 183 days a year. The client is satisfied with this option.
